One Van, One Roster, One Trip

TravelSeat Rentals' 15-passenger Ford Transit fits a full team roster plus a coach or two — no second vehicle, no carpool coordination, no kids stuck waiting for the last car to arrive. Coaches and team managers handle the rental as a straightforward self-drive booking and run the trip themselves.

For teams where the coach or athletic director prefers not to drive — late-night returns, long-distance tournament weekends, mixed-school groups — we can quote an optional licensed driver as an add-on. See our optional driver page for how that works.

Self-drive (standard)

The coach, AD, or designated parent driver picks up the van, runs the trip, and returns the van. Standard rental terms. Best for most routine practice and game travel.

Optional driver (on request)

For long-distance, late-night, or organization-led trips where the cleanest structure is a hired driver, ask us to quote a driver add-on.

Sports Team Van Rental FAQs

Can a parent volunteer drive the team van?

Yes — for self-drive rentals, the registered driver must hold a valid U.S. license, meet our age requirements, and be named on the rental agreement. Many teams use a designated parent driver or coach. For trips where the team prefers a hired driver, our optional driver add-on is available on request.

Do you offer season-long contracts?

Yes. We block out recurring Saturday or weekend dates across the season with one contract — reducing per-trip cost and locking in your team's transportation before peak weekends are booked elsewhere.

What about overnight tournaments?

Multi-day trips are quoted with a daytime service rate, an overnight on-site presence rate, and driver lodging where applicable. Many AAU and prep-school trips fit a 2-day pattern.

What if the team is over 15 players?

We can coordinate multiple vans for larger rosters. Coaches and team managers often ride in a separate vehicle anyway — we'll structure the booking around that pattern.
