TravelSeat Rentals' core product is straightforward self-drive van rental — pick up the van, do your trip, return it. For select bookings — weddings, FIFA 2026 match days, and certain event groups — a licensed driver is available on request as an optional add-on.

When We Offer It

When a Driver Can Be Added to Your Booking

A licensed driver is not part of our standard rental package — most renters drive themselves. We offer the optional driver add-on in specific situations where it materially helps the customer or is the cleanest way to handle the booking.

FIFA World Cup 2026

Match-day parking at MetLife will be brutal. A driver who knows the routes drops your group off and handles the post-match staging. See FIFA 2026 page.

Wedding Day

You don't want anyone in the wedding party driving a 15-passenger van at 11pm after a reception. A hired driver handles the late return. See wedding shuttle page.

Select Group Bookings

For corporate hospitality, certain sports / youth-group trips, and other situations where the cleanest legal or operational structure is a hired driver, we can quote driver-included pricing on request.

Most Other Trips

Just book the van. Family vacations, road trips, regular sports / church travel — these almost always work best as a straight self-drive rental. Reserve online here.

Optional Driver FAQs

Is your driver licensed and insured?
Yes. Our drivers hold valid licenses for passenger vans and our commercial insurance policy covers the vehicle operation. For weddings and corporate events, we can provide a Certificate of Insurance to your venue on request.
Can the same driver do my pickup and return?
Yes — same-driver round-trip is available on request and is the default for weddings, FIFA 2026 matches, and similar same-day events.
Do you provide a driver only (without the van)?
No. The driver-included option is bundled with one of our 12 or 15 passenger Ford Transit vans. If you have your own vehicle and only need a driver, we are not the right service.
Why isn't the driver included by default?
Most group renters prefer to drive themselves — it's the most flexible, lowest-cost way to use the van. Adding a driver is meaningful for specific situations (weddings, FIFA, certain corporate trips), so we keep it as an optional add-on rather than building it into every quote.
Where can the driver take us?
Routinely: Fairfield County (Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, Westport, Darien), Westchester County (White Plains, Yonkers), New York City, Northern New Jersey (East Rutherford, Newark), and major regional destinations (Hamptons, Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, Bradley Airport). Longer-distance trips are quoted individually.
